Alice Cao's award!

Beowulf, illustrated by Alice and produced and published by Books Illustrated, was the Winner Book of The Year, at The British Book Design & Production Awards ceremony which took place in April.

Alice created 18 stunning, ink illustrations for the book.

Alice had also illustrated Inkheart for the same publisher, in ink and watercolors.

Welcoming Andrea Espier!

Andrea is an award winning illustrator  and author from Spain, living in France. She was the 2025 Winner of the Illustrators Exhibition at Bologna Children’s Book Fair and a 2026 Finalist. Her book Nosotros, los pequeños (Tres Tigres Tristes, 2024) was selected for the BRAW Amazing Bookshelf. Andrea uses a variety of techniques including collage, markers, color pencils and monotype printing to achieve the desired results.

Clémence Pollet has illustrated a new book, Bleu, as part of a trans-disciplinary musical project for children created by the French artist Eleanor Shine.

Bleu is a unique production for young audiences that combines music, drawing, and sign language. The story, beautifully illustrated by Clémence, explores the theme of exile through a poetic lens.




Danijel Žeželj for Illumicrate:

Danijel created a stunning series of illustrations for the Southern Reach set, by Jeff Vandermeer. Eight spreads for the endpapers, in ink, two for each book in the series, effectively capture the distressing events and the tense, eerie, and unsettling atmosphere of the story.

Jorge González brilliantly illustrated SPURIUS, an historical novel by David László Conhaim. Using soft pastels and charcoals, Jorge creates the atmospheric images to accompany the story, set in ancient Rome after the victory over Hannibal.

Jorge is an award winning artist from Argentina, based in Spain. He has illustrated over 20 novels, among them, The Shadow of the Wind, illustrated for The Folio Society and winner of the Victoria and Albert Museum illustration award in 2024.

The beautiful hand-lettered title is by Ruth Rowland




Oleg Buyevsky illustrated the new book for young readers, Liar's Beach, by Katie Cotugno, for Penguin

Lindon visits his friend Jasper at his parent’s huge beach house in Martha’s Vineyard. Jasper’s family are rich but Linden’s family is working class and he wants to keep this a secret. Liar’s Beach is a story about friends, money, secrets, love, and lies.

Michael Waraksa's award winning work!

We love Michael's work Vacuum, and so did the judges of American Illustration!

Created as a digital collage, the work was selected for the AI book and exhibition.

Jay Vollmar is working on a series for Knight First Amendment Institute of Columbia University.

The first illustration in the series is for:

Lawyering Without Law: The Legal Profession in an Age of Authoritarianism

Jay is a wonderful conceptual artist working in a variety of media, ranging from collage to silkscreen printing and digital art.




Martin French for Gravy

The Spring 2026 issue of the literary journal Gravy Quarterly featured the work of contemporary Southern poets in celebration of national poetry month.

Martin was commissioned to create this painting to accompany the stunning poetry of Kwoya Fagin Maples. Martin achieved this stunning result by combining ink, charcoal, pastel and spray paint in the artwork.




Danlin Zhang's latest book cover art is for Shadow Slave, Volume 1, Child of Shadows, for the German edition by Reichenbacher-publishing.

Author: Guiltythree

Danlin was the perfect artist to illustrate the cover for this dark fantasy novel.

The book can be pre-ordered now and will be shipped as of July 1.
